GHACM was created by its parent company, Gates, Hudson & Associates, Inc. (GHA), a local residential and commercial property management company with over 30 years of experience in professional property management. GHA has built its name and unparalleled reputation on providing superior customer service and satisfying client needs while responding to the rapidly changing landscape of the local real estate market. In 1985, GHA acquired Community Management Corporation (CMC,) the nation's oldest exclusive manager of condominiums, homeowners associations and cooperatives. GHA reorganized and recapitalized CMC with two investors, enabling the company to grow to the largest of its kind in the nation. Gates, Hudson & Associates sold CMC in 2002 and began the plans to create their own association management company from the ground up, in 2005. This change in approach was brought about by GHA's recognition of the growing need in the industry for a flexible, service-oriented Association Management Company focused on maximizing investment value.
